| Youth & Teen Improv Classes 2010
These 5 week sessions run Saturday's 10am-12pm
Each class will focus on story telling, mime, environment creation, character development
and spontaneity. Students will work together as a group to create and tell stories through scene work. These classes teach students the basics of improv in a fun, safe and encouraging environment.
Improv builds communication skills, boosts self-confidence and instills positive life skills.
PLEASE NOTE AGE AND CLASS CHANGES BELOW:
1. The 5th week of classes will no longer be a "recital" show. We want to expand what the kids get from their time with us. All 5 weeks will be classes. Periodic shows will be scheduled that will allow all current students to participate.
2. In classes for the 13-17 age range we ask that parents, friends and family not stay to observe classes. In order to provide the students with the safest environment possible to explore their own creativity, it is important that only students and the instructor be inside the theatre for the duration of the class. Thank you.
