CAGE MATCH RULES
|
Rule 1
| Each team will be given 25 minutes to perform, no more, no less. A timer in the tech booth will tell us when
their time is up. Each team will get a 5 minute and 1 minute warning.

Rule 2
| No player can touch the clock during the show.
|
Rule 3
| Each team can call one 30 second time out.
|
Rule 4
| Each team is required to bring a song on cassette or CD to be played during their entrance to the stage. If
they do not bring a song, something lame will be played for them.

Rule 5
| Each member of the audience is given 1 ballot as they enter the theatre. Do not lose your ballot, as you will
NOT be given a new one.

Rule 6
| Once the show begins, no more ballots are given out.
|
Rule 7
| You must watch both teams to have a vote.
|
Rule 8
| That night's performers and volunteer staff are not allowed to vote, however, everyone else in the room is eligible to vote.
|
Rule 9
| That night's host will count the ballots. The team with the most number of audience votes wins.
Write in votes for teams not actually competing will be disallowed.

Rule 10
| The decision of the host is final. No whining. No recounts. The host will choose the winner in the event
of a tie.
|
Rule 11
| This is meant to be a friendly competition. Harassment and intimidation during the performance by either the performers or members of the audience will not be
tolerated. The host will not hesitate to eject people for such behavior.

Rule 12
| The host can assess penalties and make up rules at his/her discretion.
|
Rule 13
| Stacking the audience is not only allowed, but encouraged.
