Fall 2023 Open Auditions

Who we are looking for:

• Committed performers who will consistently bring their best selves to practices and shows. 

• Talented individuals with an attitude of collaboration, inclusion, and respect. 

• Those willing to play and be vulnerable in a safe and community-based environment.

About audition day:​

• Please dress for physical activity and be prepared for anything!

• This is group audition - audition length is dependent on the number auditioning and can take 2 to 3 hours.

• No experience necessary to audition - but it is helpful.

• Applicants must be 18 or older.

• Check-in is from 12:45 pm to 1:00 pm. Please register before November 3

• Late arrivals will be turned away.

• Callbacks may be scheduled.

• Only those auditioning and Blue Door Theatre members are allowed at auditions - there is no outside audience observation.

• There is no cost to audition.

• All BDT players are expected to attend weekly practice Wednesday night to be eligible to perform.
